Show Promo
Overview
To introduce viewers to an adaptation of the popular animation series Death Note. A show where a teenager comes across a book that, when a name is written in it, the person will pass away. The main idea of the promo is to show what the “Death Note” can do, which is to kill any person by simply writing down their name in it. I want to represent that by having namesappearg on the notebook and then showing the victims dying later on.
Approach
I first picked out some items that were catching the viewer. I then picked out some moodboards that I wanted to capture in my work,k which is this dark, eerie tone. To match the tone of the show, I went with a muted colour tone and dark atmosphere. I modelled the scene out in Cinema 4D and did the finishing touch in After Effects.
