Project 6
SPCA Rebranding

Overview
Currently, the perspective SPCA has is that they are a place for people to abandon their pets. People view them as a place to call when they no longer want to or are incapable of taking care of the pets they have, treating them like a dumping ground.
SPCA also does not have a cohesive brand image online, as looking through their Instagram or YouTube, at a glance, we can't tell that it is by the same company.
Approach
We wanted to create a family-friendly brand image for SPCA. The main idea is to make the brand seem more approachable, which led to our logo design. We chose a hand-drawn logo to make the brand feel more friendly, and incorporating a pet mascot further enhances this concept.
As part of our multisensory advertisement approach, I came up with the idea of an automated photo booth kiosk. When a person stands in front of it and performs a hugging gesture, the kiosk captures their photo. Later, they receive a Polaroid featuring their image.
